International Nurses’ Day Virtual Event
May 13-21 2021

As part of the celebration of International Nurses’ Day and Clinical Trials Day in May, the IACRN local Chapter leaders are hosting a series of virtual visits. Previously nurses from Japan, China, Sweden, South Africa and the USA have spent the week leading up to International Nurses’ Day in the UK with National Institute for Health Research and UK Clinical Research Facility Network colleagues. As the event went virtual this year it has expanded to encompass sessions from nurses across the world to share their experiences and celebrate clinical research nursing. Plans are underway to showcase the work research nurses undertake in a variety of settings using presentations, virtual tours, interviews, videos and Q&A. Sessions begin in New Zealand on the 13th of May and end with Japan on the 21st of May. Other confirmed contributors are Africa, Australia, Boston, Europe, Ohio, Shanghai-China, Taiwan, and Wisconsin. This international celebration will be presented using Zoom and will be free to all interested parties.
