IACRN offers many ways to get involved in our organization. For members, we have numerous committees that are always looking for new volunteers. Companies that are interested in getting involved and reaching out to Clinical Research Nursing professionals, can sponsor IACRN events, or advertise through our website, to CRN professionals around the world!
Clinical Research Nursing is the specialized practice of professional nursing focused on maintaining equilibrium between care of the research participant and fidelity to the research protocol. This specialty practice incorporates human subject protection, care coordination and continuity, contribution to clinical science, clinical practice, and study management throughout a variety of professional roles, practice settings, and clinical specialties.

The purpose of the IACRN Leadership Program is to provide a framework to engage IACRN members, nurture leadership within the organization, and build a viable foundation for future leadership of IACRN. The IACRN Leadership program fosters an environment of collaboration and professional growth.
Since 2011, successful chapter development has proven critical to the growth and sustainability of IACRN and to the advancement and recognition of clinical research nursing as a specialty practice. Chapters advance the practice through planning and executing educational programs, promoting professional development, and providing opportunities for local networking and community building.
