Role of the CRN During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Wednesday, December 16, 2020
1:00 – 2:00 PM ET
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all of our lives. For many Clinical Research Nurses (CRNs) their research was either placed on hold, conducted with limited access to research participants, or they were deployed to COVID-19 focused trials. This webinar will discuss how two academic medical facilities developed new strategies to communicate with clinical research staff and trial participants during the pandemic, describe the operationalization of new COVID-19 related studies with limited on-site staff, illustrate how the oral research drug delivery chain was maintained, and the impact of COVID-19 on CRNs.
