A workshop is an educational program designed to teach or introduce attendees to practical skills, techniques, or ideas which they can then use in their work lives. Workshops are interactive, educational, and conversational. A workshop presentation doesn't have to be limited to one person. Co-presenters, or co-facilitators, are not only common but can greatly expand the possibilities of a given workshop. Each co-presenter might be responsible for parts of the workshop, or all may work together throughout the workshop. The IACRN Annual Conference offers sessions on diverse topics within the broad spectrum of practice settings and roles of clinical research nursing. You are invited to submit your workshop ideas for the 15th Annual IACRN Conference. Topics for the 2023 conference include:
For more specific ideas for topics, click here. The conference workshops are intended to provide intensive, hands-on training of a topic of interest to clinical research nurses. Each session is 3 hours in length, which includes 2 hours and 45 minutes of educational content and a 15-minute break. Workshops will be scored on:
