You are corrrect in assuming that I was speaking about patient age related competencies. In the acute care settings, Joint commisssion requires professional orientation to include identification of age related competency skills for patient care. The Joint commission is starting to address these same items in outpatient clinical areas. I am trying to find clinical research related "age specific" criteria. I definitely would welcome any and all information on recruitment, and treatment. Additionally, are these items in current practice and does any include informed consent?
