When I was working as Director of research at a private cardiovascular practice we developed pocket guides for the PIs. We used the $.99 soft photo books that you can find at a dollar store and inserted photo sized copies of study overviews- to aid practice MDs to know the studies and make referrals for recruitment. We also included basic info. We would keep a log of who had the pocket guides and periodically would collect them for editing them (replacing inserts) and redistributing them. We also tried to put those info on PDAs for the MDs; however we found pocket guides, which fit well in the labcoat worked best. I like the idea of basic pocket guides for novice CRNs though. Sounds like something you could create!
