We have been opening many phase 1 clinical trials that require PKs after clinic hours, which in our case is 6:30pm (ex. 6, 8, 10hr after end of infusion). We would like to know how other centers handle these after clinic hours draws.

We have a dedicated space for inpatient research. When the outpatient clinic is closed, we schedule all after hour visits in our inpatient area. This has allowed us to schedule lab draws at any time throughout the week.

If you don't have a phase 1 unit you may look at asking sponsors to pay for home health nursing to obtain these for you.
